I haven’t really had any sales chances here, haha. The licensing side feels quiet, and I haven’t sold anything so far.

I signed up for 500px hoping it would be a place to actually connect with other photographers, get some useful feedback, and maybe have a few conversations. I still have the welcome email and receipt sitting in my inbox, and looking back, I guess I expected more from it than just uploading photos into the void.

Most of the time I’ll post something and maybe get a couple random likes, but almost no comments or interaction. It doesn’t really feel like a community anymore, more like nobody is actually there. Maybe it used to be better, but right now I don’t feel much reason to keep using it.

Uploads take longer than I expected, especially compared to other tools I’ve used where images go through quickly. Managing and sorting images also feels a bit clunky to me, like it takes more effort than it should to keep everything organized.

Dealing with the billing was kind of a headache. I felt stuck trying to figure out how to cancel, and the button wasn’t exactly easy to find... like, I kept thinking I must be missing something. Support did get back to me eventually, but it felt slow when I just wanted it handled.

I wanted to like it, and there were moments where I thought it might actually be useful, but overall it just didn’t deliver. I paid for the subscription and kept waiting for something worthwhile to come out of it, but most of what I got back felt underwhelming. It’s frustrating because it seems like it has potential, but for the price, I expected a lot more.

This was annoying. I reported that someone had used my photo without permission, but it still stayed up anyway. What made it worse was the lack of clear communication about what was happening or why nothing was being done. It just felt like the moderation and copyright process didn’t really have my back

I enjoy posting my photos there, but dealing with support was really frustrating. I sent in a ticket about my account and ended up waiting days just to get a basic response. When they finally replied, I felt relieved for a second, but the answer barely helped and didn’t really fix much. It was disappointing.

Bottom line, I’m happy with the app overall. I use it regularly and it’s usually stable and does what I need, though every now and then I run into a small glitch or hiccup...

The site looks nice overall, but I don’t know, sometimes I feel like I’m clicking around way more than I should just to find basic stuff. Maybe I missed something, but the navigation feels a bit confusing...

The photos themselves looked nice, and my portfolio turned out okay at first glance. But trying to organize everything felt clunky and more frustrating than I wanted to deal with. It’s not a terrible option, but I’m careful about where I put my time and energy, and this just didn’t feel worth the hassle for me.
